Final Fantasy XIV Online Patch 5.45 Now Available

Square Enix has the latest update on Final Fantasy XIV online Friday again, as Patch 5.45 is now available in the game. The patch adds in the latest chapter to the “Save The Queen” quest series, as you get another amazing addition from the game’s creator Yasumi Matsuno (Final fantasy Tactics, Final Fantasy XII), the same man who Return to Ivalice alliance raid series in Stormblood. You will also continue the battle for Bozhan on the southern front, and you will take part in a new large-scale battle called Delubrum Reginae, which takes place in the ruins of Queen Gunnhildr’s kingdom under the fall of the Bozja Citadel.   • Resistance of the Resistance Weapons: “Save the Queen: Past to Rest” The battle for the southern front will continue, and after Castrum Lacus Litore is not recaptured, the chances of a victory seem slim for the Resistance. This next exciting chapter of the “Save the Queen” series continues the story by renowned game designer Yasumi Matsuno.
  • New large-scale combat content: “Delubrum Reginae” – This new combat content features a 24-player normal mode and a tough 48-player wild mode that players can undertake.
  • Resistance weapon updates Players promoting the “Save the Queen” series will be able to further upgrade their resistance weapons and two more levels in Patch 5.45. With the second upgrade level, players can adjust certain parameters on the weapon to suit their playing style.
  • Blue Mage Update Blue Mage receives a number of new updates, including an increased level to 70, new blue magic to learn from enemies, new job-specific equipment and additions to the Blue Mage Log.
  • Skysteel Tool Update – Disciples of the land and by hand can further upgrade their Skysteel Tools to assist with manufacturing and collection.
  • New Final Fantasy XIV online emotions, hairstyles, furniture, fitters, henchmen, fashion accessories and more.
