Final Fantasy VII Remake Developers Go In To Tease More What Part 2 Involves

“We want players to experience how the rest of the world feels”

Here we go again!

Final Fantasy VII Remake “Part 2.” The name alone is likely to strike a chord with many fans. But the original Remake has garnered so much goodwill (much more than I expected it to) that I think a lot of people are willing to see what Square Enix has to offer before they get on their feet.

When does it come? Well, we do not really know. What do we know about it? Vae platitudes! This is the way most Final fantasy game release schedules; with the exception of XVI (so far), which fortunately has the preceding and fighting Yoshida at the helm. Happy, Final Fantasy VII Remake star speaker Audrey has new news for us coming from CEDEC + Kyushu 2020 Online.

Although much of the digital event is about the history of Part 1 (about a few things we’ve already read), Part 2 was finally discussed. Co-director Naoki Hamaguchi said the team “wants players to experience what the rest of the world is like” in terms of ‘goals’ for part 2. “Rest of the world,” is quite the lofty goal!

But of course, with Remake Producer Yoshinori Kitase thinks a bit about the timeline and thinks there is enough room to undermine expectations. Kitase explains: “Although those who played the original game know the story, do they probably think what’s going to happen now? We want to create something that can surprise them and that they can enjoy that meets their expectations. We did something similar in Part 1. “

Hamaguchi says it is “already [they] can now reveal about Part 2, “and the interviewer jokes that they” hope “that we will experience the big field map after Midgar. Hamaguchi laughs and says that they will” take note of it. ” They do confirm, however, that a ‘new wave of staff’ is underway for Part 2 which, in part, is still being remotely addressed.

It all sounds pretty exciting and vague! As Audrey noted, it is entirely possible that Part 2 may be shorter than expected. I can easily see that, as Square Enix has the ability to add all sorts of backstories with Zack and Cloud, as well as new zones and mechanics that eat up a lot of time.

Although Part 2 may not cover much of the “old” FFVII narrative, “it has the power to open all kinds of fresh doors. As long as it’s fun to play and Square Enix does not go bankrupt before it’s done, I’ll willingly go along for the ride.
