If you want to play Final Fantasy VII in HD on your computer u could wait for the remake to be transferred, or you can play the original game with this mod that uses artificial intelligence to enhance the footage.
Though I’ve written about witchcraft like this before –with this game, even!– this latest attempt from Satsuki Yatoshi uses ‘deep learning techniques’ to transform the low resolution pixels and polygons of the game into a look much sharper, and this is a huge improvement over older efforts, especially since it’s much easier to install and get started.
“The main purpose of the SYW mod is to get as much detail as possible without having an overshadow and overclean effect,” says the mod’s YouTube page, “to make the version as natural as possible and consistent in quality. hold throughout the game. ”
So it goes HD without going also HD, to the point where everything starts to look a little too clean and weird and rough.
