Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade video shows more Yuffie, Midgard on PS5

Square Enix has released a nearly six-minute extended trailer focusing on improvements for Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade and its PS5 version. The video touches on the numerous graphical improvements and quality of life of the game. In the end, players get a little more play from Yuffie’s perspective – the star of the new year Intergrade episode.

Final fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade will see a complete visual improvement over last year’s gameplay, specifically adapted for the PlayStation 5. The first half of the new trailer focuses on improvements such as mishaps, lightning and textures.

In addition to the graphical enhancements, players in the settings can switch between a graphical or execution mode. The graphics setting offers 4K resolutions, while the performance setting prefers 60 frames per second over graphic fidelity.

Players can also experience the game on the new normal (classic) problems, which are interrupted more frequently for commands in battle. The new difficulty level will be a step further than the Classic mode of the launch version, which was only available on the Easy issues.

The video also features enhanced loading times and a photo mode, allowing players to explore the world and quickly take beautiful photos of bosses or Midgard themselves.

Towards the end, players get a little more Yuffie game, where the ninja and her companion, Sonon, fight a giant drill boss. Players briefly watched the fight in Yuffie’s original announcement trailer.

Square Enix announced Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade in February, during Sony’s most recent State of Play. Intergrade is a new episode where players can adventure through Midgard as Yuffie, a playable party member in the original Final Fantasy 7 which usually only appears after the heroes have left Midgard. The Intergrade update will launch with the PS5 version of the game, which is a free upgrade for players who have purchased Final Fantasy 7: Remake.

Especially fans who pick up Final Fantasy 7: Remake of PlayStation Plus in March is not eligible for the free upgrade.

Square Enix will launch Final Fantasy 7: Remake Intergrade and the Remake‘s PS5 version on June 10.
