Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade for PlayStation 5 Announced

Final Fantasy 7 Remake comes to PlayStation 5 with an updated version called Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade. The updated version will add new content and new visual enhancements.

Shown during Thursday’s State of Play stream, Intergrade adds new story content to the first game in Square Enix’s multiplayer Final Fantasy 7 Remake. The PS5 version has all the technical and graphical improvements one would expect from the upgrade, such as reduced load times and better visual effects, but Intergrade adds a new part to the story with Yuffie, a character we do not normally see in the story, after the gang leaves Midgar.

Yuffie, dressed in a beautiful moogle dress, with a masculine character at her side, is in Midgar, ready to go on her own adventure. You can play both Yuffie and Sonon as they develop their own plan to infiltrate Shinra to find a rare matter. Yuffie will most likely be in the next part of Final Fantasy 7 Remake, and this addition lets us know what she did in the background.

The game also features a photo mode that allows players to stand still and take beautiful screenshots of the various characters. As shown in the trailer, you can even take screenshots during battles, which means that if you’re like me, the Reno battle is now just a photo shoot.

There will also be a new difficulty mode added to the game, allowing players to use the classic turn-based controls while playing in normal mode. Previously, you had to play the game to easily access the classic controls.

Final Fantasy 7 Remake Intergrade will be released on June 10th. Those who have purchased the PlayStation 4 version can upgrade to the PlayStation 5 version for free, but will still have to pay a separate fee to get Intergrade.

CORRECTION: The heading of this article has been updated to make it clear Intergrade will be a paid addition for PS5 players.
