Carles Tusquets en Joan Laporta currently do not see eye to eye.
The former president and candidate for the March 7 election has started Tusquets‘interim council to make decisions that could affect the winner of the upcoming election.
Laporta is not happy with Tusquets‘behavior around the club’s interest in signing Eric Garcia, although Catalunya Radio reports Tusquets is not worried about the threats.
“On the threat raised over the execution of certain signatures of players to be brought on July 1, without any transfer costs, I would like to tell him [Laporta] not to make the mistake of thinking that his threats of legal action were successful, ” Tusquets said, and the validity of Laportathey claim.
Tusquets insists that Laporta did not influence his final decision and that the club will not sign Eric Garcia this January.
He also suggested in his letter that Laporta must follow Victor Font and Toni Freixa in “the interests of Barcelona before his particular electoral interests “.
