La Liga – FC Barcelona Training and press conference postponed
Barcelona issued a statement confirming that two members of Ronald Koeman‘s coaching team tested positive for coronavirus.
As a result, Tuesday’s workout was also postponed as a precaution. Koeman‘s press conference before Barcelona’s match against Athletic Club.
“Following PCR tests conducted on Monday, two members of the football’s first team staff produced positive results for Covid-19,” reads a statement on Barcelonaread official website.
“The club has notified the relevant sports and health authorities. Furthermore, the whole group will undergo further PCR testing on Tuesday morning local time in accordance with the La Liga protocol.
“As a result, the training session scheduled for tomorrow Tuesday at 11:00 CET has been postponed. The new time for training and the subsequent press conference before Athletic Club against FC Barcelona will be announced tomorrow.”
