FBI asks to speak to anyone who received material from the suspect in Nashville bombing

The FBI wants to talk to someone who may have received material from the man who, according to authorities, detonated a bomb in downtown Nashville, Tennessee, on Christmas Day.

The agency said they were aware that 63-year-old Anthony Q. Warner had sent material to various acquaintances across the country.

“We know that the suspect sent material that quoted his views to various acquaintances across the country,” Special Agent Jason Pack said in a statement to The Hill.

“Asked those who received it to contact the FBI at 800-CALL-FBI,” the statement continued. Pack did not specify what Warner might have sent.

Officials confirmed Warner was the suspect two days later the bombing, and added that he was killed in the blast.

Authorities indicated he was not on their radar before the bombing, but a police report Released Tuesday reveals that Warner’s girlfriend warned that he would make bombs out of his RV in August 2019.

Metro Nashville Police Department released body image documented the moments before the blast on Thursday, injuring eight individuals and damaging about 40 buildings.

The blast also disrupted AT&T communications in several states and temporarily halted flights from Nashville Airport.
