Fauci predicts that COVID vaccine will be open to all by April

Dr Anthony Fauci said on Thursday that the rate of COVID-19 vaccinations was picking up steam – and that by April it would be an “open season” for virtually everyone to catch up.

Fauci, who serves as scientific adviser to President Joe Biden, told NBC’s “Today” that the vaccination rate will accelerate significantly in the next two months.

He acknowledges the forthcoming delivery of the two approved vaccines, Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna, which is the potential approval of a third party, and the Biden government’s intentions to increase the country’s ability to deliver doses.

The American top expert on infectious diseases said that “by the time we are in April,” it is an open season, namely that anyone and everyone in any category can start vaccinating. ‘

However, he warns that it will take a few more months to deliver shots to adult Americans, but predicts that herd immunity could be achieved by late summer.
