Arizona farmer John Ladd warned Tuesday that U.S. border patrol agents and communities are being “overwhelmed” by the rise of migrants, who he says are “bursting into their towns.”
“We are spoiled for choice with Donald Trump,” Ladd told Fox & Friends on Tuesday as he harassed President Biden’s immigration policy amid a surge of migrants on the southern U.S. border.
The farmer, who lives along the border between Arizona and Mexico and experienced the situation first-hand, further said that the Biden government ‘is now letting everyone cross the border’. He warned that “it will destroy our country.”
“It started before Biden even took office,” Ladd said. “Once the election was over, he promised 11 million people amnesty. Here they come. ‘
In his first week in office, President Biden signed a number of executive orders, including the administration’s 100-day deportation moratorium. Before Biden’s inauguration, a large wagon pulled up on its way to the southern border of the United States, which others apparently followed in the weeks that followed.
In a breach of Trump’s immigration policy, under Biden, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will target mainly people who pose a threat to national security, crimes that have been identified as “serious” crimes or have recently crossed the border, according to the released guidelines last month.

Former President Trump, whose government has taken hundreds of measures to curb legal and illegal immigration, has ordered ICE to arrest anyone who has been in the country illegally.
Recently, ICE officials and agents expressed concern about a mandate that would limit their ability to conduct enforcement operations and that could lead to people entering the country, said Jon Feere, a senior adviser to ICE under Trump. .
An Arizona border chief on Sunday spoke to Sinclair’s “Full Measure with Sharyl Attkisson” and warned that illegal immigration was on the rise for the past three years.
“Right now, over the past financial year, we are about 100% where we were this time,” said John Modlin, the interim chief patrol agent for the Tucson sector of the Border Patrol.
“In the first four months of this financial year, we have already surpassed the whole of 2018,” he added. “If the flow continues at the rate it is here, we will surpass 18, 19 and 20 jointly by the end of this financial year.”
Host Brian Kilmeade on Tuesday asked Ladd what he would say to those who think there is no crisis at the border.
“They live somewhere under a rock,” he replied.
President Biden signed 17 executive actions during his first day in office – many of which overturned Trump administration policies and regulations – such as the cancellation of funding and construction of boundary walls.
