The second night of NXT Takeover: Stand & Deliver ended with an unpunished match year in the making. After the surprising disintegration of the undisputed era, Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly went from side to side in an absolutely cruel and bloody unsanctioned match. The thirty-minute match had it all – weapons in abundance, a surprising knockout and the two fighters crashing through the driveway in a violent spectacle. After nearly 30 minutes of play, O’Reilly emerged victorious after inflicting a low blow on Cole and then followed it up with a brutal knee attack (with a chain stressed) on Cole’s back. and Cole sent through a chair to round him off.
