Swift’s re-recording of ‘Love Story’, the first preview of her long-awaited collection of re-recorded music, was released on Thursday night (February 11) – and beyond the turnout of the votes cast by fans, it was launched with a quick start and on the day of its release received 5.8 million on-demand streams in the US.
“Hey guys, who then tells me to the 18-year-old that our love story will still be strong all these years later?” Swift tweeted over the weekend. “Thank you for the ways you can fill my life 24/7, every damn day, with love.”
