“Buffy the Vampire Slayer” star Charisma Carpenter accuses creator and director Joss Whedon of displaying abusive behavior on the set. Michelle Trachtenberg also claims that Whedon was ‘inappropriate’ when she was a teenager in the series.
Fans are now appealing to David Boreanaz (51) and Alyson Hannigan (46) to speak their truth about the matter.
“The silence of David Boreanaz and Alyson Hannigan is deafening,” tweeted a fan, with another comment, “Alyson Hannigan- Stil. David Boreanaz- Stil. Anthony Stewart Head- says he saw nothing. Sarah Michelle Gellar – Says she’s supportive and condemns abuse. Eliza Dushku – saw nothing but in solidarity. Convincing stuff. ”
Boreanaz also decided this week to delete his Instagram and now has just one photo of his father, Dave Roberts.
The “Bring It On” star, Dushku, is the latest “Buffy” alum who has expressed her support for Carpenter.
“CC, my heart aches for you and I’m so sorry you kept it up for so long,” Dushku, who is no stranger to workplace harassment, wrote on Instagram. “Your message was powerful, painful and painted a picture we will never see or deny together.”
