Earlier this month, GTA Online player t0st found a way to reduce the loading times of the game by 70%. It should have been a clean, effective solution, because Rockstar has looked at it itself, agreed with it and will be part of an official update soon.
As PC player report, Rockstar researched and found the work of t0st ‘has in fact revealed an aspect of the game code related to download times for the PC version of GTA Online that could be improved. ‘
“As a result of these investigations, we’ve made some changes that will be implemented in an upcoming title update.”
The update is only for the PC version of the game, and there’s no word on when it’s coming, but Rockstar wanted ‘thank you [t0st] again for his efforts. ”
