Tunnel to Towers pays the mortgage loan of two FBI agents killed in Florida while chasing a suspect.
“It’s so sad that so many of our law enforcers have to give up their lives,” Tunnel to Towers CEO Frank Siller told America’s Newsroom when he made the announcement on Friday.
Siller said families left behind by such tragedies should be cared for because “they give us our freedoms and our safe streets.”
“Just the last few days, you’ve had the two FBI agents you just talked about. We buried a police officer who had just been killed in New Mexico, a deputy in Sacramento. “And, of course, a police officer was just killed in Mississippi,” Siller said.

Details continue to appear about the fatal attack on the FBI in Sunrise, Fla., Which left the two agents dead, wounded three more and which led to the suspect apparently dying by suicide – the agency’s deadliest day since 9/11 .
As the flag dropped at the FBI Miami field office Wednesday with half-staff, a new report indicated that the suspect used a doorbell camera and allegedly shot at agents through the door.
The suspect, who was not immediately named by authorities, apparently put a camera in his doorbell and used it to monitor agents as they approached his home, two unknown law enforcement officials told the Miami Herald. The gunman allegedly shot through the unopened door at agents who used an assault rifle and left the door pierced with bullet holes, the report said.

Siller called on Americans to pledge $ 11 a month to the organization to help the families of law enforcement agents and soldiers who died in the line of duty.
“If I were to do a million people, we could take care of every first reaction in this country that leaves a young family and Gold Star families dying in the line of duty. This is another story that just came out with a helicopter crashed yesterday, so we have to take care of these families. “
Tunnel to Towers is a non-profit organization that started supporting Gold Star families through minimum donations of $ 11 people from across the country. It was started in honor of Siller’s brother, Stephen, who ran through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel toward the Twin Towers on September 11, 2001. Siller was one of 343 members of the FDNY killed that day.
