We just wrote about the big new Fallout: New Vegas mod The Border last week when it was released! And now we write about it again, because the mod is “hidden” (basically temporarily removed) from Nexus Mods and taken from his own website after allegations that one of his artists “posted animated pedophilic content on their personal artist accounts”.

The full statement, posted by the development team on the mod’s page, reads:

Over the past few hours, a lot of worrying news has emerged. We were recently notified that one of our developers, ZuTheSkunk, has put animated pedophilic content on their personal artist accounts. The items involved are very upsetting to the whole team and we strongly condemn them. ZuTheSkunk has since been removed from the Development Team and banned from our Community Discord. We will have a discussion with members of the development team to hear their thoughts on the current situation and to make our decision more informed. We have stopped production and are working on the mod to address the current events properly. More measures will be taken and a more detailed address will be posted soon.

The views, thoughts and opinions expressed in the mod and beyond are only from the authors who write them, and not from the organization, community or other group or individual.

ZuTheSkunk has a Deviantart account which is still active, and which mostly consists of My little pony fan art, and which sometimes moves to sexual realm, though nothing of the scope is asserted in the statement. However, there is an account that has now been removed on the more NSFW-leaning art website Fur Affinity Called “ZuTheSkunk”, which is “disabled by owner”.

The mod is also not available on Steam, and is listed as ‘coming soon’.
