“Every day we are reminded of how fragile the progress we have made in defeating this virus really is,” said Governor Andy Beshear. “We will wait carefully for the coming days and weeks to determine the impact that the holidays could have had on our recent success with the delayed growth of new businesses. With more vaccines arriving in 2021, we have a new sense of hope, but for now, we must all continue to do our part to stop this virus, including wearing a mask and avoiding large gatherings.
