Fact check seven-point list contains false ‘evidence’ that the COVID-19 pandemic was planned

Reports showing a list of seven claims that serve as proof that the COVID-19 pandemic was planned contain false information.

Examples can be seen here and here.

ROTHSCHILD COVID-19 TEST PATENT

The post alleges that Richard Rothschild patented a test kit for COVID-19 in 2015. This claim is false and was previously dismissed by Reuters here.

COVID-19 TEST SETS DIVIDED IN 2017 AND 2018

The post claims that hundreds of millions of COVID-19 test kits were distributed worldwide in 2017 and 2018. This claim is false and was previously dismissed by Reuters here.

PANDEMIC SONG OF 2013

The report claims that a song titled ‘Pandemic’ from 2013 had the lyrics ‘Coronavirus 2020’. Bodies that pile up ”. This statement is untrue and was previously dismissed by Reuters here (see subtitle “PREDICTIVE SYMBOLISM”).

ROCKEFELLER PANDEMIC SCENARIO

The report claims that a scenario about the pandemic was created in 2010 with the aim of creating new levels of global control. It refers to a May 2010 document entitled “Scenarios for the Future of Technology and International Development” by the Rockefeller Foundation and Global Business Network here.

The document contains four scenarios of different levels of political and economic alignment and adaptability. One scenario is called ‘Lock step’ and is described as ‘a world with tighter government control from above and more authoritarian leadership, with limited innovation and growing backlash from the citizen’.

The scenario outlines a pandemic in 2012, stemming from wild geese, that overwhelmed even the most pandemic-ready countries. It has hypothetically infected nearly 20 percent of the world population and killed 8 million people in seven months, mostly young and healthy adults. The scenario explains that some countries, such as China, have handled the virus better.

This is not evidence that the COVID-19 pandemic was predicted. There are various differences between COVID-19 and the scenario presented, including the year and the origin, and who influenced it the most.

FAUCI PREDICTIVE OUTBREAK

The post alleges that American expert on infectious diseases Anthony Fauci ‘guaranteed’ in 2018 that a pandemic would occur within the next two years. This claim is untrue and was previously refuted by Reuters (see subtitle “FAUCI INFECTIOUS DISEASE WARNING”).

2018 VIDEO OF PANDEMY BEGINS IN CHINA

The report claims that a global pandemic in China near Wuhan was shown in a 2018 video. This claim is false and was previously dismissed by Reuters here (see subheading “PANDEMIC SIMULATIONS”).

GATES CORONAVIRUS BILL EXERCISE BILL

The report claims that Bill Gates organized a coronavirus pandemic exercise two months before the COVID-19 outbreak. This claim is untrue and was previously dismissed by Reuters Fact Check (see subheading “PANDEMIC SIMULATIONS”).
