Has American professional wrestler Undertaker, after Rihanna, Greta Thunberg and Mia Khalifa, expanded support for the agitated farmers?
A screenshot of a tweet supporting the agricultural protest, which appears to have been posted from Undertaker’s verified handle, went viral on social media. The photo shows the wrestler holding up a poster that says, “WE ARE TEAMING UP!”
The alleged tweet says: ‘We can not even think of our healthy body without the crops grown by the farmers. Respect and support the farmers. # FarmerProtest. ”
Various Twitter and Facebook users shared the screenshot with the caption, “Thank you #Underaker for support #Underaker #KisanAndolan # #FarmersProtest.”
India Today Anti Fake News War Room (AFWA) found that the text on the screenshot was changed. On December 17, 2020, Undertaker tweeted the image to indicate that WWE had partnered with fundraising firm Omaze for a charity event. He has not yet tweeted about the farming issue.

The original tweet
We tracked down the original tweet posted by Undertaker’s official handle on December 17, 2020. It has the same image of him as a “LET’S TEAM UP!” poster, but completely with a different text.
The caption of the tweet reads: “@WWE has partnered with Omaze to support the life-changing work of Make-A-Wish by giving you the chance to win a day at the @WWEPC with me.”
The link bit.ly opens the website of a fundraising company that would arrange a ‘make-a-wish’ event where the lucky participant can enter the ring with the wrestler. If you compare the viral image with the original tweet, it becomes clear that the screenshot is changing in circulation.
If we look at the timeline of Undertaker’s Twitter handle, we’ve found that so far he has not tweeted about the ongoing peasant agitation in India.
