So many lies led to the riot in Washington last Wednesday. Now new lies are being offered on the right web to defend the indefensible. And President Trump’s cheering section is desperately trying to bury the unrest in the memory hole.
If we’re talking about memories, let’s go back in time. A week ago, our author Timothy Snyder, on our trusted sources, warned ‘On Tyranny’ that ‘we are now moving dangerously into the realm of a big lie’. He said: “The idea that Mr Biden did not win the election is a big lie. It’s a big lie because you have to believe all kinds of evidence to believe in it. It’s a big lie because you’re in it. a big lie to believe in. conspiracy to believe it.
