Exgobernadora Wanda Vázquez Garced dijo este lunes en intrevista radial que su decision de hace un aoo de reduction de actividades en Puerto Rico y decretar un toque de queda para tratar de contragio con el Covid-19 en la Isla fue acertada y la comparó a mother who cares for her children.
In a radial interview with Normando Valentín in La Manana by Notiuno 630 the exgobernadora says that “many decisions were made very difficult, complicated. As we all know, we are always on the lookout for things to do in the rest of the world. It seems to exist particularly in the area of Europe. We see the cases (of Covid-19) in Italy, in Spain, in France. As far as we know, we are not living in Puerto Rico, we are very concerned about the development of the global pandemic. “When we see the situations that exist in New York, they are preoccupied,” Vázquez Garced said in a statement at the United States headquarters about the pandemic, a high-profile contagion and death.
“As soon as we find the first positive cases in Puerto Rico, it will be enough for me to take the most difficult decision, but I will direct and save the life. When we took the first five positive things (cases of Covid-19), which were the (tourist) Italians, the panamanic medicine that was at the Festival de la Salsa. To my detriment, however obsessive I am, I have the preoccupation that the podium has other contests that we do not exercise control. Since it is momento, tengo can change the fue un instinto. This is how it is in other countries of the world. “One hopes that this will happen in Puerto Rico,” the governor said.
