MADISON, Wis (AP) – Government Tony Evers says everyone in Wisconsin will be eligible for the coronavirus vaccine on May 1st.
State health officials said Thursday that everyone in the state will be eligible sometime in May. Hours later, President Joe Biden said he wanted states to be eligible by May 1st.
Evers said Friday the state will meet the deadline. Evers did not pay attention to how long after he was eligible, someone could be vaccinated.
Health officials had earlier said anyone wishing to be vaccinated would be able to get it in early July.
