FSG will run out of ‘Liverpool’ when Klopp leaves: Carragher
Liverpool’s owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG), will be ‘out of the club’ in a week if they lose manager Juergen Klopp due to the breakaway of the European Super League, former defender Jamie Carragher said.
A group of twelve top European clubs, including Liverpool, said on Sunday that they had launched the breakaway competition.
Klopp told Sky Sports on Monday that his opinion on a breakaway league has not changed since 2019 when he said he hopes it will never happen.
‘The biggest thing is that everyone is against it “Klopp spoke about this in 2019 and made his position very clear,” Carragher said.
‘If Liverpool lose their manager in the next 12 months, then the owners will walk out of the club in a week. I can assure you of that. ‘
