Estrada-Chocolatito 2: Judge Sucre suspended by WBA pending evaluation

After shouting about Judge Carlos Sucre’s scorecard in Florida in the Estrada-Chocolatito 2 fight Saturday night, the WBA “temporarily suspended” Sucre pending an “evaluation” of his performance in the fight.

Sucre recorded the battle 117-111 for Estrada (42-3, 28 KO), who won a split decision over Chocolatito Gonzalez (50-3, 41 KO) and united the WBC and WBA titles at 115 pounds . Gonzalez overtook the WBA belt. The WBC has shown no interest in suspending Sucre, but I assume they can make these kinds of probable empty gestures as well.

Like, they did not even post the correct scorecard in their Tweet about it. They used the one from the McCaskill-Braekhus fight:

So, yes, consider me skeptical about any CONSEQUENCES !! Sanctions agencies do these kinds of things from time to time to respond and make it seem like they care what someone thinks, but the most likely outcome of this is that basically nothing will happen.
