According to a brother, Tom Girardi’s Erasmus husband, ‘Real Housewives’,’s memory loss amid his growing lawsuits and divorce.
Robert Girardi filed a petition with the court on January 13 requesting that he be appointed guardian of his brother.
Tom Girardi, 81, is a prominent lawyer in Los Angeles and was recently sued, as was Jayne, 49, who allegedly embezzled millions of dollars from the families of the victims of plane crashes.
Robert Girardi claims that his brother is no longer able to make ‘rational decisions’ on his own in documents obtained by Fox News and which were filed in an involuntary bankruptcy case by creditors.
“While the debtor is sometimes apparently aware of the filing of the Involuntary Petitions, he should be reminded of this on a regular basis,” Robert Girardi writes. “The debtor is unable to realize and comprehend the consequences of the bankruptcy debt case against him and his law firm Girardi Keese.”

Robert Girardi also states that his brother is “incompetent and unable to act for himself.”
A lawyer for Tom Girardi did not respond to Fox News’ comments. A call to Robert Girardi was also unanswered from Saturday morning.
Jayne, who is also a singer and performing artist on Broadway, announced her divorce in November.

“After much deliberation, I decided to end my marriage to Tom Girardi,” she confirmed to Fox News at the time.
The couple has been married for 21 years. In her petition for divorce, Jayne asked her husband to cover her legal costs and provide marriage support. Girardi reportedly asked the court to deny the TV star’s request of reality.
