Epic Gives Off a Surprising Triple-A Free Game – Next Week’s Title Also Announced

By the time you can claim the latest free computer games from the Epic Games Store, the surprise is already gone, as the free games are usually announced a week in advance. This time, though, Epic wrapped something a little extra for everyone. In addition to the announced indie strategy title For the King, you can also pick up a triple-A FPS with Metro: Last Light Redux.

You can go to the regular Epic Games Store promotional page to download both For the King and Metro: Last Light Redux now. As always, you can buy both games at a price of a dollar, and they will stay in your library forever from that point on. You have until February 11 at 8:00 PST / 11:00 EST / 16:00 GMT.

On February 11, the titles will be replaced by Halcyon 6: Lightspeed Edition, an improved version of the sci-fi strategy game. The developer list affects everything from Star Control to FTL, and it shows – it’s a robust approach to RPG games and strategy games, with base build and RPG style battles, both on the ground and in space.
