Epic Games Store still offers popular survival game for free today

Hot from the heels of making Night in the woods for one single day for free, the Epic Games Store has announced its next title that can now be downloaded to a computer. Today’s offer is one that survival fans will specifically want to take note of, if they accept that they do not yet own the game.

Deep stranded is the latest free title from today in the Epic Games Store and will be added to your own library for free until tomorrow 29 December at 11:00 EDT. In the game, players overlook a surviving plane crash stranded in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. You have to make articles, upgrade your character and fight animals to ensure your survival. Actually, it’s kind of Chased away the video game.

The unique thing of Deep stranded compared to some previous games offered by the Epic Games Store, it is still available early. Despite the first release in 2015, Deep stranded has not yet reached its 1.0 iteration. Although a formal version took place on consoles earlier in 2020, this computer version is still being worked on in real time. This means that playing it now can help you give feedback to the developers on which you can improve in the future.

While Deep stranded is the most recent game that the Epic Games Store is handing out for free, it will not be the last. This daily promotion actually continues until December 31st, which means there are three more titles left to hand out. If you’re curious about what the other three games will eventually be, you should check out this week’s leak that apparently revealed the full list of free titles ahead of time.

Of course, we will keep you informed of all the happenings with the Epic Game Store as time goes on. If you would like to continue to follow our store window coverage, you can do so here.
