It’s not the end of 2020 yet, which means the Epic Games Store is still handing out one free game every day at the end of the year. In the case of today’s free title, it happens to be one of the most popular indie releases of the last few years.
Night in the woods is the free game of today in the Epic Games Store for those who want to download it to a computer. The title was first released in 2017 and was received incredibly well by critics when it arrived. Since that time, it has continued to gain a cult following. Night in the woods is primarily an adventure game that tells the story of a handful of quirky, animal-like characters, but it is also regularly praised for its soundtrack and colorful world.

Clearly, the catch with this free release, just like all the others Epic will be doing in the coming days, is that you do not have to choose for long Night in the woods on. If you want to add the game to your own library, you must perform EDT by 11:00 tomorrow. After this time, the game will still be available in the store, but you will need to purchase it as usual.
Once Night in the woods stop being free, but another game will fill its place. While Epic Games has not yet said what will be free tomorrow, we have a good idea of what to expect. The full list of titles coming to EGS was leaked last week and so far this is not untrue.
