Epic Games Store gets a spring show next week

Epic has announced an announcement show and sale in the Epic Games Store, starting on February 11th. The event starts with a Twitch stream at 11:00 in the Pacific / 14:00 in the East / 19:00 in the UK (it’s 06:00 AEST on 12 February) on the Epic Games Twitch. Channel, and will include new game announcements, gameplay and extensive watching of upcoming games planned to launch in the Epic Games Store this year.

Starts three hours earlier the same day at 08:00 in the Pacific / 11:00 Eastern / 16:00 UK / (3 hours AEST on 12 February) and runs at the same time on 25 February, and Epic Games will also have its Spring Showcase Sale hou. The sale will feature a number of titles such as Star Wars: Squadrons, SnowRunner, Cyberpunk 2077, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Hades. A preview of all the games on sale during this time is now available in the Epic Games Store and it contains over 180 games, but it does not currently show what the discount on the titles is.

Although Epic did not give any hints about the new announcements that would be on the stream on the 11th, it recently gave a statement to PC Gamer indicating that we will be expecting more exclusive Epic Games Store-exclusive products in the future.

“We’ll be getting more exclusive in the next two years than we’ve published so far,” a company representative told PC Gamer in response to a report that the store restaurant’s exception appears to have been quiet until late.

Exclusives have also been a major revenue stream for the store in the past, so it would not be surprising to see some new announcements in the showcase next week. It is also possible that we can take a look at exclusive products that have yet to be announced for the store that are not yet available. This could include games like The Wolf Among Us 2, Jett: The Far Shore, Darkest Dungeon 2, Kena: Bridge of Spirits, or upcoming titles from Ubisoft (which usually also starts in the Ubisoft Store) or Remedy.
