Epic Games bothers Fortnite’s appearance by Brazilian soccer star Neymar

Epic Games and Brazilian soccer player Neymar tease a likely appearance by the star athlete in Fortnite on March 16, with clues coming via a few tweets. Eurogamer first reported the news, including a video tweeted from the Epic Games account that featured Neymar’s no. 10-sweater tone. Neymar tweeted the video again with the “eyes” emoji – not exactly confirmation, but another idea that something is brewing.

Details on how exactly Neymar may appear in Fortnite are therefore still scarce, but as Engadget points out that it is being launched at the same time to launch the Zero Crisis Final Singles Mission – which is the focal point of the video teaser. Neymar himself has not played in a football match (or football, take your pick) since he was injured a few months ago.

Live events in Fortnite remained very popular with a concert by Marshmello in 2019 that drew 10 million people, which at the time was a record event for the game, and a performance last year by Travis Scott, which was also within Fortnite, attracted more than 12 million people. In January, developer Epic Games pledged $ 20 million for esports in Fortnite in 2021.
