Enjoy more immersive S Pen and audio experiences on your Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + with the latest device updates – Samsung Global Newsroom

Galaxy Tab S7 and Tab S7 + are versatile tablets designed to provide users with seamless and connected device experiences for work as well as for play.

Following a series of ecosystem empowerment updates that came on Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + last month, several new exciting updates have been introduced to offer users even more enjoyable S Pen and Galaxy Buds Pro experiences.

Do more with your S Pen

As part of a software update in Q1 2021,1 you will be able to enjoy more continuous experiences with your S Pen. Text box areas that are normally served with keyboards – such as address blocks – can now be filled in with your S Pen.2 This means that everything you write in it will be immediately converted into digital text, including punctuation – you must draw a ‘v’ between the words to leave a space and ‘⌒’ to connect separate words to each other .

For more natural note-taking in Samsung Notes, a new pen type is also coming as part of this upcoming software update. Once selected,3 With the ‘Pen to text’ option, you can record your handwritten notes and instantly convert them to digital text.

Available in more than 80 languages4 and if you can detect punctuation and spacing, the ‘Pen to text’ option eliminates the need to put down your S Pen when using Samsung Notes, and offers you more elective modules.

Simplify, scan and edit with Samsung Notes

Those who use their Galaxy Tab S7 and S7 + to scan documents will appreciate being able to scan documents with the Camera app on their devices. As part of the latest update, this tool becomes much more easily accessible for those who want to scan and edit a document in Samsung Notes. Simply tap the ‘Attach’ icon in the app, scan your document and start taking notes directly on the scanned document.

Enjoy multidimensional sound with 360 sound

These days, we are all spending more time than ever before enjoying videos and other multimedia content at home on our personal devices. Introduced with the Galaxy Buds Pro,5 With the 360 Audio feature, you can enjoy 360 degree surround sound when watching a video on your Galaxy Tab S7 or S7 +. The intelligent motion detection sensor will determine the direction of the sound of your media when you enjoy content on your Tab S7 or S7 +. In tune with your head movements, the sound volumes of the earbuds will adjust to provide you with a powerful, immersive sound experience.
