On this week’s episode of “Did Elon Musk Really Say That?” we find him with the podcast (and the enthusiastic enthusiast / psychedelic) Joe Rogan talks about the new Tesla Roadster.

“I want it to float, and I was trying to figure out how to make this thing float without killing people, you know,” Musk said in a recent episode of the Joe Rogan Experience, which was released Thursday. ‘Maybe it could float like a meter above the ground, or something like that. If you fall, it will blow out the suspension, but you will not die. ‘

Keep in mind that it is beyond his idea to place rockets on the Roadster – something he spoke extensively in 2018. Is it likely that one of these things will happen and be available on a production vehicle sold to customers? Our guess is a hard no. Is it safe to move all the rabid Elans stamps up? You bet your ass it is.

During his visit to the Rogan podcast – his third – Musk also talked about the now-infamous incident during the unveiling of the Cybertruck in which chief designer Franz Von Holzhausen broke his supposedly unbreakable window glass. Musk later went into why he does not think it should be something on production models.

“Production glass is much more robust than demo glass,” Musk said. “You have to have massive tools and ovens to make production glass, and it takes a while to do. Production glass is always better than demo glass.”
