Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk alter his Twitter bio to name only Bitcoin.
The move is similar to Jack Dorsey, CEO of Twitter, who has long been a bitcoin supporter.
The bitcoin mention by Musk means that she wants more than 43 million followers to learn more about the world’s largest cryptocurrency.
Shortly after the bio was changed, Musk tweeted: “In retrospect, it was inevitable,” which possibly means the bitcoin mention would definitely happen.
Bitcoin has risen by about 13% since the tweet (about the last hour). The cryptocurrency is currently trading at around $ 36,500.

Last month, Musk asked about converting “big deals” from Tesla’s balance sheet into bitcoin in a Twitter exchange with Michael Saylor, CEO of Microstrategy.
Saylor at the time encouraged Musk to move cash from Tesla to bitcoin and “give your shareholders a $ 100 billion favor.” The exchange took place after Musk mailed a suggestive image indicating that he is tempted by bitcoin.
Shortly afterwards, Musk wrote in a separate tweet at the time: “Bitcoin is my safe word.”
Musk, the richest man in the world, has tweeted about Dogecoin several times before. The price of Dogecoin recently reached a new high of more than $ 0.02.
