Elon Musk invites Vladimir Putin to talk about clubhouse

The Tesla chief executive on Saturday marked the Kremlin’s official bill to ask if the Russian president wanted to join the audio app.

“Would you like to have a conversation with me about the clubhouse?” Musk said in a tweet on Saturday. He then follows a tweet in Russian, which translates into: “It will be a great honor to speak to you.”

As of Sunday, there was no response to Musk’s requests from the Kremlin’s official presidential account. It is unclear whether Putin is interested in talking to the tech billionaire. The Kremlin’s presidential office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Putin is not the only public figure Musk has tapped for a conversation. Musk recently tweeted that he and billionaire rapper Kanye West want to appear on the platform. No dates have been announced for when the two will join forces for a clubhouse meeting.
Musk’s move comes shortly after the CEO made his own debut last month in the sociable, inviting social conversation app. The conversation spans everything, from memes, crypto and even a surprising discussion with Robinhood CEO Vlad Tenev, following his role in the GameStop (GME) frenzy.
