Elon Musk is getting into the NFT gold rush through a new electronic music track he was apparently manufactured as an NFT. Yes, you heard it right – this is a song about non-fungible tokens, which Musk apparently jumped on the blockchain (or planned). Musk has not included a link to the NFT, so it is not clear if it is already available and if Musk intends to start selling later. It is also not clear on what platform Musk wants to sell the NFT.
We also do not know if the song has a name, but we do have some clues. The lusvideo attached to the song that Musk posted on Twitter Monday, displays the words “Vanity Trophy” that revolves around a golden sphere affixed to the top of a literal trophy with the caption “HODL”, short for phase ” fast for the dear life. ”
The HODL acronym, although presumably originated as a drunken misspelling of the word ‘like’, is both an online slang and a kind of rally for the bitcoin community, as it apparently encourages crypto enthusiasts not to sell their signs. It is noteworthy that Musk is a big proponent of bitcoin. Tesla invested $ 1.5 billion in the cryptocurrency last month and plans to adopt it as a means of payment for its electric vehicles in the future.
At various points in the short video, the words next to the trophy shift from ‘computers’ to ‘never sold’, while a female singer sings lyrics such as ‘NFT for your idity’ and ‘computers never sleep’. Did I mention that the trophy also has little golden dogs, or ‘girls’ if you will, who also turn to it?
As for the song itself, well … there’s not much to say. It’s loosely a techno song if you want to deepen the genre (with some electro house vibes thrown in), and it’s appropriate, as Musk called himself the ‘technoking’ of Tesla this morning.
It’s not very good, but by the standards of Musk’s previous work in the electronic music scene – the certifiable, not quite a ‘banger’ Do not Doubt ur Vibe ‘- I would say it’s an improvement.
