Eligible persons vaccinated at the Russell Auditorium after registration error

Some people who wanted to get COVID-19 vaccinations in Dorchester on Monday were able to get the shots, even though they did not meet state requirements, officials said.

According to the statement from Boston Medical Center, which operates the clinic in partnership with local partners, the vaccination clinic at Russell Auditorium began vaccinating people 18 years and older.

“The clinic has discontinued the vaccinations for that age group, and we are complying with the guidelines available before this month,” BMC said in the statement.
