EE.UU. Cuba credit bank to list restricted entities

(CNN) – The Secretary of State Mike Pompeo announced the four that the Department of State will add to the Cuba Bank “Banco Financiero International SA (BFI) in the List of Restricted Persons, although it will be effective to publish its principles in January”.

Pompeo called BFI “a commercial bank controlled by the Cuban military that benefits directly from the financial transactions and expenditures of the Cuban people”.

“The Cuban government uses the BFI’s keyboard in divisions for preferential access to the military and state-owned enterprises, insures types of ventures and finances projects controlled by the government that enforces the regime,” he said.

“The beneficiaries of these operations benefited from the disproportionate manner of the Cuban military in housing the Independent Cuban emperors, which promotes the repression of the Cuban people and finances the interference of Cuba in Venezuela”, added.

BFI is one of the largest and most recent Cuban banks to further complicate operations of foreign companies and others that intend to invest and conduct negotiations in Cuba.

Meditation on the Cuban Bank is taking place on the 62nd anniversary of the power of the Cuban Revolution.

As CNN reported this week, it is hoped the Trump administration will design Cuba as a terrorist patron.
