(CNN Español) – Disturbios in three different prisons in Ecuador on March 10th, at least 75 deaths, confirmed the director of the Penitentiary Services, Edmundo Moncayo, during a press conference.
The disturbances were caused by clashes between rival criminal gangs inside the prisons located in the provinces of Azuay, Guayas and Cotopaxi, near the National Police of Ecuador in one bag.
‘Two groups [están] looking for criminal leaders inside the prisons ”, said Moncayo.
Moncayo says that neither the police nor the officials will murmur during the disturbances, but that some police will result in war. “Our directors, legal team and social workers can evacuate the prisoner of consent with the protocols”.
The President of Ecuador, Lenin Moreno, said in a statement that his “criminal organizations” that are behind the violence, describe endings as leading to “simultaneous violence actions” in three circles of all the countries.
