QUITO (Spoetnik) – The Ecuadorian Ministry of Public Health (MSP) presented a code of ethics for the ancestral, traditional medicine of the nationalities and peoples of these Andean countries, informs the Charter of the State.
“In a symbolic act, the authorities of the Ministry of Public Health integrate the Code of Ethics of Men and Women of Ancient Medicine, traditional of the nationalities and peoples of Ecuador”, says the letter of Public Health in a statement.
The event takes place in a virtual way representing Colombia, Mexico, Peru, Guatemala, Switzerland and Bolivia, as well as the original peoples and nationalities of Ecuador.
In the creation of the participatory code from 2017 delegates of the 15 nationalities and 18 indigenous peoples, as well as the Montenegrin and Afroecuatorian people.
