EA signs new game from Assassin’s Creed & Raised by Wolves actor Abubakar Salim

Electronic Arts announced on Thursday that it will release a new, unannounced game from developer Silver Rain Games, a studio founded by actor Abubakar Salim, best known for his roles in HBO Max’s. Salim co-founded Silver Rain in 2019 with studio head Melissa Phillips, formerly of BAFTA Games. According to a news release from Electronic Arts, Silver Rain was founded “with the goal of generating thoughts and innovative games and content on various mediums of entertainment.” Silver Rain has about 20 employees.

Electronic Arts announced the EA Originals program in 2016. The publisher at the time said that EA EA Originals was founded to promote “unique, beautiful, innovative and memorable” games.
