Dying Light 2 Collector’s Edition may have leaked through European retailer

It looks like what looks like a Dying light 2 Collecter’s Edition has been leaked via a European retailer, indicating that the game may be coming soon.

Dying Light 2 developer Techland very recently promised that he will soon be sharing “exciting news” about the game. But a list uploaded by a retailer in the Czech Republic (pictured below), we may have seen more than we would have imagined at this stage of the game’s marketing campaign.

The supposed Collector’s Edition of the game (thanks, Resetera) comes with a variety of extras, including a steel bookcase, an art book, a flashlight and some stickers, as well as a statue that looks like the protagonist of the game, jumping from a lamp post. to hit a zombie in the skull. Nice.

Techland has not yet officially released this article, so take its existence with a pinch of salt. That said, it’s a very specific and realistic thing to mock for the purposes of a farce, so it’s probably a legitimate leak.

However, the fact that we mocked an asset like this suggests that we will at least get a confirmation of the release date soon. That ‘exciting news’ that the developer promised at the beginning of the year? Looks like we’ll be hearing about it soon.

Dying Light 2 was originally scheduled to be released in the spring of 2020, but last year the game was delayed by Techland.

The game is being developed for PC, PS4 and Xbox One. It was also one of the first cross-gen games to be officially announced, and will also be able to pick it up for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
