A Dying Light 2 Collector’s Edition has leaked online with a bunch of goodies you can get, including a statue and art book, but more importantly, this leak indicates that the game’s release date will appear soon.
This Collector’s Edition of the game includes a unique Collector’s Box, a pair of UV stickers, a UV flashlight, an exclusive Steelbook case, an art book and a secret location map. There also seems to be another bonus in the corner, but the word has been cut off, although it looks like some art picture cards. It comes with a limited edition Statue of Aiden Caldwell taking out a zombie while parking from a chandelier. It also contains the Deluxe Edition of the game.
Since this image is apparently in nature, it indicates that marketing companies or retailers are starting to prepare for an announcement date of the game, which has been delayed several times. Dying Light 2 has experienced a number of setbacks, including the loss of well-known developer Chris Avellone after allegations of sexual harassment against him. Recently, Techland also left a writer and art director. The last time we saw Dying Light 2 was in August 2019 during an exhibition event.
Dying Light 2 is available for PS4 and can be played on PS5 through backwards compatibility.
