Dwyane Wade sees noticeable difference in James Harden amid Nets’ debut

James Harden had a historic debut with the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday night and former NBA star Dwyane Wade noticed something different about the three-time points champion.

Wade tweeted a photo of Harden from the Nets’ locker room for their game against the Orlando Magic. He noted that there was a clear difference between the photo he posted and what he saw when Harden’s days with the Houston Rockets were fading.

“Let’s talk about this narrative: James Harden looks happy and there is no price for that feeling. Could he handle things better. YES! But we could not all. I’m glad for this black man,” Wade tweeted.

Harden finished with 32 points, 11 rebounds and 14 assists as Brooklyn beat the Orlando Magic, 122-115. Harden became the first player in NBA history to score a 30-point triple-double in his debut with a new team.
