Drew McIntyre reveals which WWE Superstar he wants to face and increase (Exclusive)

Drew McIntyre was a great run as the WWE Champion on Monday night RAW. SK Wrestling’s Riju Dasgupta recently caught up with McIntyre for a special interview. During an interview last year, The Scottish Psychopath expressed his desire to face Randy Orton and AJ Styles, both of whom have now faced him.

The Universal Champion Roman Reigns helped establish Superstars like Jey Uso as big players. Drew McIntyre has revealed which RAW Superstar he wants to tackle and elevate in a similar way.

“I’m just as busy pulling each other up. With Randy Orton, he’s so established that he’s been around for so long. As if he can really help me cement myself as a major event talent. And I feel like I’m still increase that is currently tying my legacy, which is why the Goldberg game is so important to me to cement that legacy and take it to the next level as a Superstar, ‘said Drew McIntyre.

‘It’s been a while since he’s been on top of the mountain’ – Drew McIntyre wants to face Sheamus

Drew McIntyre expressed his desire to face Sheamus, who is also one of his best friends in real life. The two have known each other for years, and McIntyre thinks he can bring Sheamus back to the top of the mountain where he belongs. He also mentions the name of Jinder Mahal.

‘But if I were to pick a situation, it could be an interesting situation, because you know he’s been to the top of the mountain several times and won everything to win, but in the last few years he’s more of a wrestler and kind of drives and does nothing really at the top of the map. But someone like Sheamus I find an interesting one, because as long as he’s been there, it’s been a while since he’s been on top of the mountain and just the same as Jinder, we have the right relationship. We have known each other since I was 18-19, he was about 45-46 at the time (laughs). And through everything moves together like all the ups and downs of him life and my life. As the story would be incredible, and I think where I am currently will help draw him on the map where he belongs. And the same thing with Jinder. ‘Both guys with such a cool real story that I think together would really bring them both back to the top of the map,’ ‘Drew McIntyre said.

Drew McIntyre appears at Superstar Spectacle, a special show for the WWE universe in India. WWE Superstar Spectacle will premiere exclusively on Sony Ten 1, Sony Ten 3 and Sony MAX on Indian Republic Day, Tuesday 26 January, at 20:00 IST, with commentary available in both English and Hindi.
