Drew Barrymore reveals Clueless star Breckin Meyer was her primary school boyfriend and first kiss
Unlike her character ‘Josie Grossy’ in Never Been Kissed, Drew Barrymore has revealed that at an early age she found puppy love with a now famous Hollywood actor.
In her talk show on Friday, Barrymore, 46, revealed to her first boyfriend in elementary school that it’s none other than Clueless star Breckin Meyer, 46.
She said earlier that he was also her first kiss in her autobiography Little Lost Girl, and she went on to reveal details about the show in conversation with Zach Braff and Donald Faison of Scrubs.

Barrymore began her career in Hollywood at the age of seven at ET and met Breckin because both were child actors.
He told Faison, who played with Meyer in Clueless in 1995, that Breckin actually introduced him to Drew when he first moved to LA.
‘When I first moved to Los Angeles, Breckin, Paul Rudd and Alicia [Silverstone] took me to Jones and I met you that night – you and Johnny from The Karate Kid … I met you through Breckin and every time I saw you since I was like ‘I know Breckin’, ‘he said said.

When she heard Breckin’s name Drew, she could not contain her excitement as she waited to reveal that she and the Road Trip actor were already back.
‘Breckin Meyer, aka Travis Birkenstock, was my first boyfriend in elementary school. I love Breckin, ‘she said.
In a 2012 interview with Access Hollywood, Meyer was asked about Drew’s writing that he was her first kiss in her book.
“All I know is that this is true in her book,” he said before expanding on their history.

Speaking to Stephen Colbert in The Late Show in 2019 about the kiss, Barrymore said: ‘It was amazing! He was adorable and ‘also added that her friend’ kept scorecards’.
Since then, Barrymore has had a number of marriages with film producer Jeremy Thomas (1994-1995), Tom Green (2001-2002) and most recently Will Kopelman (2012-2016), with whom two daughters Olive, eight and Frankie, share. six.
Meyer was married from 2001-2014 to screenwriter Deborah Kaplan and they share two daughters Clover and Caitlin.
