Draymond Green jokes about all the times Steph Curry yelled at him

Steph Curry is known for being cool, calm and saturated – at least for the public.

However, if you ask Draymond Green, it’s a different story.

Television cameras captured a frustrated and emotional Curry in the second half of the Warriors’ horrific 130-104 result against the Los Angeles Clippers and shouted at his teammates with emphasis.

It was the most upset Dub Nation Curry had ever seen. But according to Green, Curry screams frequently, even at him.

“Steph yelled at me a few times,” Green told reporters following the Warriors’ practice on Friday. “It’s actually about shooting the ball.”

“Like, shoot the ball!” Green shouted, in his best Curry impression – though he noticed that he was paraphrasing and omitting a few words of choice.

“A little different from the words I use,” Green hinted. “But yes, he’s yelled at me before. For sure.”

In fact, after a slight pause, Green remembers another quarrel.

‘Remember the time I ran into it with Steve [Kerr] in [Oklahoma City]? “Ask Green The Athletic’s Anthony Slater.”[Steph] sit right next to me. He stood over me and started yelling at me. He has yelled at me several times already. ‘

“Do not try to be deceived by Steph,” Green warned. “He’s yelling at me.”

While Green can now shed light on the situation, Curry’s frustration at reaching a boiling point was extremely worrying on Thursday night. Green explained why.

“The frustration was that we played softly defensively,” he said. “We talked about getting to the ball and increasing the pressure, and we didn’t.”

Hopefully for the Warriors, Friday’s practice was helpful in putting that frustration aside. Golden State has lost a season high on four straight games and will see the ship on the right during a quick two-game home game. They will have a high order to do so as they take on the Utah Jazz and Los Angeles Lakers at Chase Center from Sunday.
