Drake is one of the shortlist of top-selling artists, with more than 170 million records sold.

And now the Canadian singer-songwriter has made history with the latest version of his new EP titled Scary Hours 2.

All three of the new songs ended up in the top three spots of the Billboard Hot 100 simultaneously, which is a first in the recording industry.

The tune What’s Next stands as the cream of the new crop, appearing in the first place.

After number two follows Wants and Needs with Lil Baby, while – Lemon Pepper Freestyle – with Rick Ross now sits at number three.

Scary Hours 2, a sequel to the EP 2018, was released on March 5 to build the growing anticipation for his upcoming album, Certified Lover Boy.

While Drake now has the distinction of being the first artist to ever debut three songs simultaneously in the Hot 100’s top three at the same time, he’s not the first artist to have three songs in the top three.

The Beatles and Ariana Grande both had songs at number one, two and three at the same time.

Drake is named by the Recording Industry Association Of America (RIAA) as the highest certified digital singles artist in the United States, with 142 million units based on joint sales and on-demand streams.

The four-time Grammy winner has worked hard on Certified Lover Boy, which will be his sixth studio album.

The main single – Laugh Now Cry Later (featuring Lil Durk) – slipped back on August 14, 2020 before the album was released in January 2021, but the date was postponed.

So far, Team Drake has not yet announced when it will finally be available to the public.
