Dr Fauci just warned about this ‘serious’ COVID development

As COVID cases continue to climb in the US, experts have doubled their warnings against the travel and spread of the virus. However, there is one more piece in the puzzle: the British COVID tribe. When the new variant was residing abroad, the Americans may not have been very worried. Now that the tension has moved to American soil, experts warn of its dangers. Anthony Fauci, MD, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), said we can not ignore this ‘serious’ COVID development. Read on for more information on the new tribe, and for more insight from Fauci, Dr. Fauci only said the COVID situation of this state is “unimaginable.”

Although some people were apathetic about the new type of COVID detected in the UK at the end of December, Fauci made his concerns clear. During an interview with NPR on January 7, Fauci was asked how much the new coronavirus strain worries him. “Well, you always have to worry if you see mutations that are functional,” he said. He pointed out that although most mutations of RNA viruses are meaningless in many respects, the British strain is a different animal.

“We know from experience in the UK that this particular virus spreads much faster,” Fauci added. “The answer to your question, it’s serious enough that we have to pay attention. We can not just blow it off.” He added that the new strain “emphasizes the need to comply with public health measures that will prevent the spread of any virus, regardless of the mutant.”

During the NPR interview, Fauci was also asked if he thinks the amount of COVID-related deaths will continue to trend negatively. “I unfortunately believe it will,” the doctor replied, blaming it on cases on holiday. ‘If we arrive in January in the next few weeks, it’s likely to be a reflection of the holiday season and the community environment that usually takes place socially during that period … so we believe things will get worse as we start January. ‘

While the full effects of holiday gatherings are still to be seen, the British COVID tribe has already moved to eight states. Read on to see where the mutation was found, and for more of Fauci’s warnings about the strain, dr. Fauci just made this narrow prediction about the British COVID tribe.
