Dr. Drew was positive for Covid-19

Renowned doctor Drew Pinsky has revealed that he tested positive for Covid-19. The diagnosis was shared from his account via an Instagram message on Tuesday. The news comes months after Pinsky, known as dr. Drew, apologized for disregarding the virus when he suggested it was a ‘press-impressed panic’ and ‘less dangerous than flu’.

In Tuesday’s report, he was seen in bed on ‘day 4’ after testing positive. The caption also states that he is “under supervision and has a fever”. In a subsequent Instagram video, he adds: ‘Covid is not nice, I do not recommend it. But I’m a bit through the viral phase, this is when the virus propagates. He also explains that he uses very good medication to attack it.

Later in the clip, he says that he wanted a Covid-positive test because I had this terrible acute fever and tested negative. And if I did not have Covid, [then] I had acute lymphocytic leukemia, which I did not want … And Covid would explain the whole thing nicely and we now have so many good treatments for Covid, I was hoping for that. And I look forward to the immunity on the other side of this. ”

He also followed up with a series of Instagram videos explaining the progress of a medicine infusion, which according to some in the comments may not be a treatment for everyone.

In April, he apologized for a series of comments he made comparing coronavirus to flu, saying he was ‘wrong’. His apology was apologized for online video compilation Pinsky pointed out, saying it was ‘press-induced panic’ and ‘less dangerous than flu’.
