Dr. Drew Pinsky tested positive for COVID-19 and was strong at home.
According to an Instagram post shared in his account on Tuesday, Pinsky’s wife, Susan, tested negative.
‘Cheers to the New Year with some Hydralyte for Covid-19. “Drew tested positive on day 4 and @firstladyoflove is negative,” reads the message.
According to the report, “Pinsky” feels better.
‘Drew is home, under supervision and fever is down. “Drew is feeling better and will be well again soon,” the message concluded.
In a separate video posted on his Instagram page on Tuesday, Pinsky also addressed a previous tweet which drew evil on social media, “Wish for Covid.”
‘I said on Twitter that I … wanted a COVID-positive test because I had this terrible acute fever and tested negative, and if I did not have COVID, I had acute lymphocytic leukemia, which I did not want because it is the only thing that will do what happens to me, ‘said Pinsky.
“And so COVID would explain the whole thing nicely and we now have so many good treatments for COVID, I was hoping for that, and I look forward to the immunity on the other side of this,” he continued.
Monday, Pinsky originally tweeted: “After three days of fever and the Zelenko protocol plus steroids, I feel better and get another test for flu and Covid! Good times. To wish Covid as this virus is not nice. Stay well, wear a mask! ”
The radio personality also captured the moment he took his COVID-19 test.
Earlier this year, Pinsky came under fire after comparing the coronavirus to flu.
‘My early remarks about equating coronavirus with flu were wrong. “They were wrong,” Pinsky said in April.
There were 19.4 million cases of coronavirus in the United States and 336,000 deaths.
